Congelados de Navarra, the first frozen vegetable company in Spain and Europe that certifies compliance with the FSMA

With a business culture based on innovation and quality, we are positioned among the highest levels of food safety certificates. During the past year, we successfully surpassed 48 customer audits and renewed the SMETA social responsibility certification with 100% compliance.

In search of offering the highest quality and guaranteeing total food safety, we have also achieved the AA level in the BRC certificate at the Arguedas plant, equalling Fustiñana and both factories maintain the HIGH level of IFS.

In the same way, we have achieved the Kosher accreditation and in the last few days we have certified the compliance with the FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) of the American FDA, the most radical food safety legislation that has been approved in the USA in the last 60 years, guaranteeing our clients the performance of the requirements of the United States Food Safety Law and becoming the pioneer company of frozen vegetables with this recognition both on a national and European level.

Also, thanks to great teamwork and good coordination of all our departments, we have reinforced microbiological safety with 10,067 analyses in the past year, and excellent results have been achieved in the management against the risk of cross-contamination of allergens.
